About Me

The bio.  I hate this part.  Like, really hate.  But alas, it must be done.  At least that’s what ‘they’ say.  And I am never one to argue with them.

Above all else I am the mother to three amazing little people.  I have no clue how I haven’t already broken them, but I haven’t.  There is still time, they are all under five years old.

Nash is the oldest and is the most expressive, compassionate, energetic person I’ve ever met. He is also capable of awe-inspiring meltdowns and table flipping that would make New Jersey housewives blush.  Isla is the middle child, and is the most intentionally, unintentionally cute child ever.  She’s giggly and girly and loves all things that sparkle, but will tackle her brothers into a mud puddle without thinking twice.  Harry is the youngest at 1 ½ and is a snuggly, cuddly bruiser who has never met a stranger.

I share a small farm tucked into the woods with my kids, my husband, three horses, three cats, two dogs, two chickens and (soon to be) four guinea fowl.  My sanity is measured in bottles of wine.  I am completely undecided on who I am going to be when I grow up, and I like it that way.  I am a financial professional by day and a grammatically challenged writer by night.  I am random and flawed.  I do many stupid things, think many stupid things, say many stupid things, and I wouldn’t change that even if I could.  Well, I might stop myself from saying so many stupid things … if I could.

I am newly addicted to having photos taken of my kids, of both the 4-legged and 2-legged varieties.  This might be apparent by the photos on this blog, which all stem from said addiction.  I highly recommend it (and my photographer too – hint hint – Melanie Weyer Photography).

I could write more, but I think I’ll stop before you run away.  If you haven’t already.  In which case you won’t be reading this anyway …
